Designed and brought to life by Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia, the Academy building embodies Engineer Dallara’s vision of creating a space that warmly welcomes the local community while sharing the company’s expertise with the wider world.
The design reflects a “harmonic whole of mechanical parts,” where every element serves a distinct purpose. The curved wall, featuring a glazed opening to the horizon, houses the exhibition ramp and connects the two floors of the Academy. Within these levels are the school lab spaces, the university education area, and the auditorium.

In 2022, Dallara Academy earned the International Architecture Award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum, one of the most coveted recognitions in architecture.
